Spring Fling! Road assessment due later in 2012 (April Update)
If you wish to pay the assessment in a lump sum without interest (the first option above), you can pay either by mail or in person. If you choose to pay by mail, you can send a check for $4,172.21, payable to “Leon County”. On the check, be sure to show your parcel/lot tax ID number. (This is shown on the tax assessment roll that you received from the County about a month ago. It is also on your annual property tax bill.) Mail the check to: Clerk of the Court, Attn: Finance, P.O. Box 726, Tallahassee FL 32302-0726. DUES DUE Homeowners Directory Minutes of the 2012 Annual Meeting
Our neighborhood get-together on May 1 to enjoy the spring weather and celebrate the end of the road project was a great success. Here are some pictures of the event taken by Kim Pisano. They also are available on the Neighborhood page. Helpful Info Want to Connect to City Gas? Several homeowners have expressed interest in connecting to the City of Tallahassee's natural gas lines to power water heaters and other appliances cleanly and economically. Some tips on how to connect may be found in this Connect to City Gas sheet. It includes people and contact info to learn more. Light out? Street lights that are not working are a nuisance and a safety hazard. If you see a street light out, please feel free to report it directly to the city. Just call 891-4968 and give the street address nearest the light that is not working. This could be "to the right or left" of the address or the address "across from" the light. Please ask the city rep for a work order number. If you pass this number along to Jim Mann, head of the Maintenance Committee, he will follow up and make sure the problem is corrected. This usually takes 2-5 work days. Hazardous waste in your house? Leon County has a place to take it, out on Apalachee Parkway. Go to Hazardous Waste Center to learn more about it. Future Newsletters will be available by email! To get on the mailing list, please send your current email address to Bill Needham: billn32312@yahoo.com. "The Rules": A transcription of the Covenants and Restrictions, and an Introduction, Frequently Asked Questions, and Index, are available HERE. See the Rules page for more details.
