The Covenants and Restrictions (C&R) are the rules about how homeowners are to establish and maintain their property. Most are just good common sense ways to be a considerate neighbor. This makes our neighborhood a more beautiful and congenial place, and also helps to maintain our property values. Every property owner agreed when purchasing property in Linene Woods to abide by the C&R, and should have received a copy from the seller or real estate agent. The C&R are on file at the Leon County Courthouse and are enforceable by law; therefore, violating any of these rules could result in costly legal proceedings.

The C&R Committee, headed by Linda Stalvey, worked on a general update to the current C&R, but continued work on an update has been postponed, possibly indefinitely, because to continue would be expensive and probably not needed. Meanwhile, a transcription of the current C&R is available, along with an Introduction, Frequently Asked Questions, and Index.
