About the Neighborhood
Linene Woods is north of I-10, between North Monroe Street and Meridian Road, and between I-10 and Lake Shore Drive. It really is a heavily wooded area, with a variety of natural and added landscaping, hills, and a wetland affectionately called Golden Pond. We have over a hundred beautiful homes, and only a few remaining vacant lots. The neighborhood was first established in 1977, and is still thriving.

Occasionally we have neighborhood get-togethers where we share a pot luck meal outdoors in one of our cul-de-sacs. Check out some pictures from the 2011 Spring Fling taken by Kim Pisano.

The 2009 Spring Fling and Fall Frolic are pictured below.

Fall Frolic Pictures...Snapshots of some of the happenings at our Fall Frolic on Nottingham Court on November 1, 2009. We ate, talked, relaxed, and ate some more. The Frolic was organized by Niki Joyce and Kimberly Pisano, and Kim took the photos.
Spring Fling Pictures...Snapshots of some of the action at our Spring Fling in the neighborhood on April 26, 2009. We ate, talked, relaxed, and ate some more. The photos were taken and provided by Kimberly Pisano (thanks, Kim).
